ABOUT ABOUT

thirst. brings you the best of the best and the smartest peeps you should learn from.

Join us the night of July 18 for SIX of the best minds from the Smithsonian and The National Institutes of Health to learn about how the dreams of understanding the human genome turned into reality. We're featuring some of the best minds from the infinitely geeky new exhibit Genome: Unlocking Life's Code, a nerdy collabo between The Smithsonian and the National Institutes of Health.

We keep the talks short, fun, and utterly fascinating. Come nerd with us.

Speakers will present thirst-fied talks on your molecular instruction book:

Carole Baldwin, PhD - Curator of Fishes, Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History

William Pavan, PhD - Director, National Human Genome Research Institute Training Office, National Institutes of Health

Anna Savage, PhD - Postdoctoral Fellow, Smithsonian Institution’s Center for Conservation and Evolutionary Genetics

Seán Brady, PhD - Research Entomologist, Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History

Keisha Findley, PhD - Postdoctoral Fellow, National Human Genome Research Institute, National Institutes of Health
